Rio Grande Southern and Denver & Rio Grande Western in On3
You'll love Jim Reardon’s Rio Grande Southern and Denver & Rio Grande Western layout. It's based in Colorado and New Mexico and features many scratch-built structures and trestles. Jim models the railroads as of the mid-1950s. His scenery is quite impressive and you'll recognize many of the landmarks that he has included in the somewhat freelanced locale.
JJ Johnston's Puget Sound Iron Goat Railway in HO Scale
Come tour JJ Johnston's beautiful Puget Sound Iron Goat Railway, a mythical branch line of the Great Northern Railway that he modeled in HO scale. JJ passed away this May. He was a friend to many modelers in the region and we wanted to re-feature his layout to honor him, his support of the hobby, and his skilled work. The layout was based in western Washington State in 1938. The PSIG was a small layout with many detailed, interesting scenes. You'll love seeing what JJ built and the special touches that his wife Patt Sellen added to the layout as well.
