Operations on the HO Scale C&O Ryder Gap
Dig into operations on Joe Green’s HO scale Chesapeake & Ohio Ryder Gap Subdivision. We toured this layout in the March 2024 issue, focusing on planning, construction, and scenery. In the April 2024 issue, we focus on operations on the pike. The article and video and nearly all of the photos are new material, unique from the March issue. This feature includes a video where we interview Joe about the layout onsite. He built a few major industries on the layout, including a large pulp and paper mill, a chemical factory, and a sawmill. You’ll enjoy this what-if version of the Chesapeake & Ohio in West Virginia and Virginia as of 1974.
